	Upload Policy
By using the FsPortal upload the system, you are verifying that the following details are correct: The item you are uploading is freeware. You are the sole developer of the piece of freeware, or you have permission from all the developers to upload it You have thoroughly checked the freeware, and have ensured that it is compatable with the Simulator(s) that you are advertising it for. The file contains accurate instructions for installation The file description gives credit to all designers You file the freeware in the correct category The file is relevant to the Flight Simulator community The files are compressed as a .zip archive, that is not above 35Mb in size You are happy for the file to be downloaded by any user of FsPortal Failure to comply to these instructions will result in the file being rejected by our Moderators. Once you have uploaded a file, it will be placed in "holding" until one of our Moderators checks it. This could take up to 48 hours depending on the available moderation staff, however we aim to have the file added within 6 hours of upload. Once a file has been uploaded, you are not permitted to edit any details on it. You must contact a Moderator who will perform any edits for you, or use the "Contact Us" form. We reserve the right to deny any download for any reason, without giving a reply to the original uploader

	Privacy Policy
At FsPortal, we take our members privacy extremely seriously, and many safeguards are in place in order to eliminate the risk of any personal information being publicly accessable. However, in order to give the richest user experience, certain personal information for each of our members and visitors are kept. When visiting the site, some personally identifiable information (such as IP address) is stored temporarily on our database server, in order to track who is visiting at any given time. Within 6 hours of leaving the site, this information will be destroyed. When registering an account, your personal information (name, email address, date of birth etc) is stored on our database server, along with an encrypted version of your password. In the unlikely case that someone was able to view our database readouts (which are safeguarded by passworded encryption), they would be able to see your personal information, however your password will always remain safe. Any member or visitor of FsPortal is able to view your personal profile page (you can view this yourself by clicking on your name in the "User Tray"). This contains some personal information, but you can change what is shown in your "User Preferences" section, and even turn off your profile if you do not wish for others to see it Some areas of FsPortal require a "cookie" to be stored in order to keep your preferences between visiting sessions. These are stored locally on your computer, and cannot be viewed by anyone else. See your browser manual for instructions on how to view stored cookies. From time to time, FsPortal may wish to send you emails about upcoming events, or special offers on the site. If you do not wish to recieve these, please indicate this in your User Preferences page. If you win a competition at FsPortal, your personal information may have to be passed on to the participating vendor(s). If you do not wish for this to happen, please do not enter any competition with a 3rd party prize offered.
